Red White and Blue

I woke up on November 9th with a red brick on my blue chest.

I am fearful.

The colors will fade, but our core values will not.

This is a nation divided, scattered with sore losers and winners alike.

It hurt my heart to see women celebrating Trump’s win. I have a difficult time fathoming what on earth they see in a man who has proven that he does not value them.

This is not about emails; this is about people. There are riots in San Francisco, fueled by fear. Hatred runs rampant, empowered by the coming installment of power.

What are we to become?

We must stand together – fight together – for what we believe in. Love.

We can do this. We are stronger together.
