Chances are, if you’re a Harry Potter fan, London is on your travel bucket list. The city has so much to offer for Potterheads – from the original Cursed Child play, to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, to Platform 9 3/4, etc. It is, after all, the home of Diagon Alley and the place to catch the Hogwarts Express! But what if you could immerse yourself even further in the wizarding world on your trip to London? Hidden in plain sight on a Muggle street in Victoria, the Georgian House Hotel offers a doorway into the Hogwarts castle stay of your dreams.
This place couldn’t be in a better spot – just a quick walk to the main Victoria Station, snuggled into a beautiful London street, with everything that comes with the coveted SW1 post code (and a bit more ⚡️). Pop this into Apple Maps to get there:
35 – 39 St Georges Drive, London, SW1V 4DG
PS – While the Georgian House Hotel caters to Muggles, too, you’ll hardly be aware of the non-magic side of the hotel. Witches and wizards have their own hallway and hidden door (get your wands out!).
Take a look around – whether it’s the four post bed, the Pensieve sink, or the secret menu at breakfast (!!), the Georgian House Hotel in Victoria is the perfect magical home base for you, no matter your house colors. ❤️💛💚💙
Sounds amazing, right? Right! But I’ll be completely honest with you. I wasn’t sure about this place before we arrived in London. It made so many promises, and I was so nervous that it wouldn’t live up to my high expectations. What if it wasn’t the magical stay I was hoping for?
Well, I must have had some Felix Felicis snuck into my drink, because as soon as we arrived, I was absolutely spellbound. Not only did the staff make sure everything was perfect, but our chambers were absolutely incredible. They have a few different options, depending on how many other wizards or witches you’re bringing with you, but no matter which you choose, I promise you won’t be disappointed. While it’s a little bit on the pricey side, I would not hesitate to stay here again – the Georgian House Hotel immediately transported me into the wizarding world. Even if we hadn’t done any of the other Harry Potter things on our itinerary, I would have felt right at home in my Gryffindor robes while staying here.
